The Climb
Experience a short story where a CEO reflects on his journey to the top, and uncover the chilling secrets to his successful position. This is an interpretation of a short story called The Climb by Francesco Blasanato.
This game supports one player and is entirely narrative-based.

Project Overview
This was a projected completed over the course of a few weeks by purely designers, and though we lacked coding experience we had plenty of narrative skills. That is what led us to creating this game the way we did. This was a client-focused project as well, where we met up with our client every week to discuss and show the work we had created all the way to completion.
Achievements

Decided the overall art style being based off of corporate graphic design.

The narrative direction to use the short story as an analogy for climbing the corporate ladder.

Worked around limitations in the team's skillset, leaning more into what strengths we had.
Concept Art
I was responsible for all visual assets and visualization of this project, from characters to backgrounds. Backgrounds in the game are generated from sprite shapes.
